Becoming a Member-at-Large is an opportunity to make change at the college and improve student life across campus. You will gain professional experience and hone your skills working alongside the College of New Caledonia Students' Union on committees, project development and implementation of these plans throughout your time at the college.
This position is a voluntary position, intended on giving students the opportunity for growth and the ability to use their voice and skills for change.
Students accepted into the Members-at-Large program should expect to have up to 2-5 hours of commitments per week depending on the projects being done, time of year, and level of involvement that you are looking for!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If your application is accepted, you will be asked to do an interview with staff and directors from the CNCSU to talk about where you will best fit in our organization. This could be somewhere on various committees such as the Events and Planning Committee, the Campaigns Committee and the Women Students' Collective. (Plus many more!)
Unfortunately, not all applications will be accepted due to the amount of Members-at-Large we can have at a time.
For any further questions, please feel free to reach out to
communications@cncsu.ca*Please note, due to limited amount of seats we will be assigning students to committees based off of this form and/or relevant experience. Unfortunately
