DR PHILLIPS SOCCER CLUB POLICIES AND RULES.

Dr Phillips Soccer Club Corporation is a private nonprofit 501 (c) (3 corporation governed by the following policies and rules that all members must follow. Please read them carefully.
By signing you are abiding by them.

1. PARKING.

- Obey the speed limit when entering the park or church property.

- All club members must use the parking area adjacent to the soccer fields. Under no circumstances are players allowed to park in other areas.

2. PLAYERS UNDER 12 YEARS OLD.

- Parents of children younger than 12 years old must be present during training. If the player needs to go to the bathroom only parents/guardians must go with her/him. If the player has a medical emergency or during a heavy rain or lightning storm, parents must pick up their children when the club suspends the practice, for this reason, parents must be present during training. Children left by themselves are the complete responsibility of the parents/guardians. Players who are not picked up by their parents/guardians under severe weather conditions or emergencies will be removed from the club. No exceptions. If a parent/guardian of a player under 12 years old is not present during the practices on more than one occasion, the player will be removed from the club. The club's commitment is limited to providing each player with soccer teaching services.

3. PRACTICE CANCELLATION OR SUSPENSION DUE TO BAD WEATHER.

- Practice cancellation or suspension due to SEVERE WEATHER (heavy rain or lightning storm) is completely unpredictable and out of Dr Phillips Soccer Club’s control. Parents will receive a communication through the club`s communication channels about severe weather practice cancellations or suspension around 5 pm. If you do not receive any notification, this means that the practice is still on. If the practice has already started and must be suspended due to bad weather conditions, players and parents must follow the following steps:

The park has a weather alarm system. If lightning is within 10 miles of the distance of the park, the alarm will activate. A siren will go off three times and the light will be blinking. All Dr. Phillips SC players and parents must leave the fields and look for shelter inside the cars. No exceptions. Players cannot stay playing in the parking area. We will follow the 30-30 rule. If after 30 minutes of the last lightning, there is no more lightning, the alarm will be deactivated with 2 short sirens going off and the light will turn off. Club members can return to the fields. In the St Luke's soccer fields, the process is similar. Coaches oversee suspending the practice and notifying the parents.

4. PLAYERS, PARENTS AND FAMILY BEHAVIORS.

- Players must maintain good behavior in training and games. Players must show respect to coaches, teammates, parents of other players, opponent players, and their parents. Under no reason, the Academy will tolerate bullying, harassment, cyberbullying, intimidation, insults, or aggressive behavior against academy staff, parents, and especially among players. The players involved in these events will be removed from the academy.

- Side-line coaching from parents is not allowed during training and games. Parents' side coaching produces the player's anxiety, confusion, and a lot of pressure and it is counterproductive to player development. Players involved in parent-side coaching can be removed from the club if the parent insists on side coaching after having received a warning from the club.

- During training, parents must be in the areas designated for them, at St Luke's Church around the soccer fields or parking area, and at Dr. Phillips Community Park the parent's area is located on the benches. No parents or family can be located between both fields.

The parent's area is located on the east side of field 1 and the West side of field 2. Parents, siblings, or other family members of the players are not allowed to play for their leisure in the areas or close to the areas for practices or games. Small children cannot play around these areas due to the danger of receiving a strong blow from the soccer balls. Parents and familiars cannot use or play in the soccer fields from the park between 5:30 to 8 pm, the time that the club has rented these areas for practices.

5. PLAYERS HEALTH CONDITION

- Parents have the responsibility to inform the club of the player's health condition, this includes behavioral diagnosis. If the player has a diagnosed health condition that is disclosed or not to the academy, the player will continue to be subject to the same code of conduct that all players must follow. The service of the academy is limited to soccer teaching and the academy does not have trained staff to assist with players with special conditions such as autism, attention disorders, etc.

6. USE THE FIELDS (ST LUKE'S CHURCH AND DR PHILLIPS COMMUNITY PARK)

- At St Luke's Church fields players can practice on the church`s fields only with the club in the time that is rented. At different times players are not allowed to use these fields. At Dr. Phillips Community Park players are not allowed to train with the club without the training uniform. Players are allowed to train in their leisure time at the park, but the club asks players not to wear their training uniform when training or playing by themselves or with friends.

7. TRAINING UNIFORM AND GAMES UNIFORM.

Training uniform is included in the registration fees. You will receive 2 orange customized jerseys, one black shorts, and one pair of socks. Before sending the jerseys for player name customization, our field coordinator will try the jersey on the player to verify the correct size. After the registration is paid, you will receive the training uniform in 7 business days. Players must wear the complete training uniform in each practice including SHIN GUARDS and OUTDOOR SOCCER SHOES. If a player does not have the complete training uniform for practice, he/she cannot participate in the practice. The complete training uniform is the Club orange jersey, black shorts, black socks, shin guards, and outdoor soccer shoes. Coaches will verify the training uniform at the beginning of each practice. Players without or incomplete training uniforms will not be allowed to practice.

Games uniforms consist of 2 sets of customized and numbered uniforms (one clear and one dark) that include: 2 jerseys, 2 shorts, and 2 pairs of socks, which cost $155. After the game uniforms invoice is paid, the player will receive the uniforms in around 7 business days. The game's uniform design is changed every 2 years.

7. ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY.

Attendance and punctuality are vital for adequate player development. Attendance helps coaches to plan each practice. Repeated tardiness or absences from practices or games will cause the removal of the player from the Academy. As a courtesy, parents must notify in advance if a player is not going to attend any practice or game to the administrator`s phone number (321)365-6530 or (407)-640-8833. The administrators will inform the coaches of the player's absence.

Games schedule is released at the beginning of the season, please notify as soon as possible that the player is not going to attend any practice or game.

If a player does not attend three practices in a month or three games in a season, the player will be removed from the club. NO EXCEPTIONS.
