Dear business owner,
River Arts Inc invites you to participate in the first ever Sauk Prairie Art Crawl! This socially-distanced art event will support local artists and makers impacted by the cancellation of art fairs like Cow Chip, while providing the community a safe shopping opportunity and increase traffic to your business! The Art Crawl will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 10am-5pm (rain date: Sept 27*) in conjunction with Fermentation Fest's Farm/Art DTour, one of the region's largest events drawing hundreds of visitors!

We are looking for businesses to host artists on their property during the Art Crawl for one day only. This would require: at least one section of flat area measuring 15x15ft, plus parking for roughly 5-6 cars at a time. Artists are encouraged but not required to bring tents, and will bring their own table/chairs/etc. From you we simply need the space. It can be grass, gravel, or pavement, as long as it is flat.

Artists will begin setting up at 8am, and the event starts at 10am. River Arts staff will stop out the day before to mark out areas where artists will set up their booths. You will be notified how many artists will be on your property ahead of time, but not expected to help set up. River Arts Inc will carry event insurance for the entire day.

Customers will be asked to wear masks any time they are at/in an artist's booth. In transit between locations masks will not be required.

Since this is our first year giving this format a try, we aren't sure how much traffic to expect. There is no fee to host an artist for the day as part of this year's event. Your business name and address will be listed on the event map and our website as a host of vendors. However, if your business would like to make a tax exempt $50 or more donation to help us cover the cost of event insurance, marketing, signage, and more, we would be so grateful.
