Hosted by USGBC Northern California, GreenerBuilder is a one-day conference and expo for green building professionals. The annual event unites all of the key players in greening Northern California’s built environment – including architects, engineers and contractors — to discuss industry trends, new research and emerging technologies. GreenerBuilder is the perfect place for students and young professionals interested in sustainability to network with industry professionals and learn strategies and tools to help create a more sustainable future in the Pacific Region.
About the GreenerBuilder Scholarship:
The GreenerBuilder Scholarship opens the doors of the region's most dynamic and high-profile green building and sustainability conference to students and young professionals, ensuring everyone has equal access to the excellent education, inspiring speakers, and powerful networking opportunities GreenerBuilder offers. The U.S. Green Building Council is deeply committed to welcoming attendees of all ages, abilities and means to events across the country, including regional conferences and expos. Providing equal access to these events is an important aspect of USGBC's efforts to bring all people in to the green building movement; a truly sustainable future depends on the investment of people from every generation and socioeconomic background.
Important Dates and Details:
* A GreenerBuilder Scholarship will cover (1) conference pass with full access to all GreenerBuilder activities. All other expenses are the responsibility of the scholarship awardee. Scholarships do not cover travel, meals or lodging.
* Submissions of interest are due by June 24, 2019.
* Notifications of scholarship status will be sent on June 27, 2019.
* Awardees are required to attend the full day of conference on July 25 and participate in a TalentFX session designed to support their career development.
*Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Applicants must be students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program or young professionals under the age of 25.
