No person shall be denied membership on the basis of any legally prohibited discrimination, including but not limited to such factors as race, color, creed, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, or qualified disability.

Rules the Market will Live By:

A. Membership is open to producers in the surrounding region. Membership is voted on by a selection committee with the best interest of the market in mind. The market believes that competition produces the best products. However, the balance of commodities is an important factor in deciding on applications to ensure a profitable venture for all.

Brokered items are limited to regional fruits and vegetables, meats, dairy products, baked goods, and some value-added products . These items may only be brokered if no other vendor/grower is producing these items. Brokered items must be approved by the selection committee before sale. Brokered items may only be brokered by farmers – those growing/raising similar products.

C. The selection committee/manager/market coordinator, reserves the right to inspect farms, both announced and unannounced, to verify that products sold at the market are actually produced by members and in sufficient quantity to support the sale of those products.

D. All necessary certificates and permits required by a vendor must be in place at the time of the market. All health department rules and regulations are to be followed. It is the member's responsibility to know what is necessary. Failure to comply can bring about dismissal from the market and a loss of membership

I. Tardiness is not allowed at the market. Vendors will show up a minimum of ½ hour before the market opens and be ready to sell at the time of market opening. Vendors may be sent home if they are consistently late and will not be allowed in the market unless they arrive in a timely fashion.
