This form is to learn more about joining an EMDR Intensive Therapy Group for those ADULTS who have been impacted by having a child diagnosed with Childhood Cancer. EMDR is an effective method to DESENSITIZE and REPROCESS trauma - to reduce anxiety and PTSD symptoms.
Group EMDR Intensive therapy will be structured as follows:
If group therapy is the right course of treatment, the remaining investment of $475 will be collected for
- Therapy Workbook: $25
- 6 hour Direct Client Hours + 2 Hours of Indirect : $50 per hour (2 day intensive)
- Follow Up: $50 for 20 minute Individual consult 1 week after
Total Mental Health Investment: $550
The initial Evaluation must be paid 48 hours in advance of your appointment. Upon receipt, you will be invited to take a couple of assessments that will help provide background information to determine eligibility for group EMDR work. If you are a better fit for individual therapy, you will be provided with options for individual therapy or traditional group support. If you are a candidate for group EMDR therapy, you will be invited to purchase the required Therapy Workbook and Therapy Package.
