Oscar Qualifying Theatrical Release Program
The Roxie Theater is here to support you in your filmmaking journey.
 
This Oscar Qualifying Theatrical Release Program is focused on short films of any genre (documentary, narrative, animation) that are 40 minutes or less.  

We can help your film qualify by meeting the following requirements:
  1. Screen for 7 consecutive days at a first-run theater like The Roxie, in one of the six approved metropolitan areas (including the San Francisco Bay Area)
  2. Shorts will be play once per day, and complete their theatrical run by September 30
  3. The movie will be presented in DCP format
