Expression of Interest to collaborate with translatE

Aim of this collaboration
Collect and analyse information on the level of commitment to addressing language barriers to publication in different journals in organismal biology.

What each collaborator needs to do
Contact editors of allocated journals (about 10-20 journals - depends on how many collaborators will join) and collect pre-defined information (e.g., whether the journal provides free English editing, does not reject a paper only due to grammar issues, or accepts alternative language abstracts). The core members will then analyse the data and write a paper, where all collaborators will be offered coauthorship - contributions to analysis and paper writing are also welcome.
