WDC tries to foster a gender sensitive environment on the campus and among students by creating awareness about issues related to gender based discrimination, holding conversations about diverse issues such as women's health and hygiene, the role of popular media in creating and perpetuating stereotypes about the female sex. It also acts as a support system for young students by providing them counselling services.
