April 2022 NSCA Board Candidate Application
Thank you for your interest in serving as a member of our New Summit Charter Academy Board of Directors. Our search committee met multiple times and created the BOD candidate search process. They looked at our current board's backgrounds and experiences and conducted a gap analysis to search for a new director. The ideal candidate would have project management experience, finance, and operational forecasting. Experience in leading or participating in strategic planning and a willingness to have a forward-thinking outlook on future school developments.

Please fill out the following questions to help our board get to know you better and understand your intentions for serving as a board member for NSCA.  The application is due April 30, 2022, at 3:00 pm.  The selection committee made up of members of our current board of directors, school staff, parent representative, and Executive Director will review the applications and choose individuals for the final interviews that will take place on May 16, 2022, beginning at 5:00 pm in a special board meeting.  If you are selected for the next step of the process, you will be notified via email by May 9, 2022.

Before filling out the application, please read our New Summit Charter Academy Board of Directors Board Agreement to be sure you agree.  This is an agreement that every board member signs once confirmed. The agreement can be found on the Board section of our website.

In addition to the application, please submit a resume with up to three references. Submit this information to tara.jennings@newsummitcharteracademy.org

Thank you, and we look forward to learning more about you.

If you have any questions, please email or contact at Tara.jennings@newsummitcharter.org or call at 719-749-4048.

Sincerely,

NSCA Board of Directors
