Replanting Seeds Retreat: Jewish Storytelling for Collective Liberation
Do you love storytelling? In this moment of grief about Palestinian genocide and our Jewish spiritual legacy, how do we cary our tradition forward? Join us in May in Western MA to reimagine and retell our peacemaking traditions. During this hands-on retreat, we will explore the performative aspects of our Sephardi, Mizrahi, and Ashkenazi oral traditions. Master storyteller and author of the recent book Replanting Seeds of Revolutionary Nonviolence: the Shomeret Shalom tradition, Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb will be our lead teacher, anchoring the retreat with her decades of storytelling experience. Our time together will be infused with ceremony, dance, good vegetarian food, music & singing, and of course, plenty of stories!
