Peters Memorial Fund was created to honor Sawyer and Tessica Peters. Sawyer was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder when he was 8 months old. Tessica was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer in May of 2018. After they fought fiercely and courageously for years, Sawyer passed away on March 5th, 2019 at the age of 3. Tessica lost her battle to breast cancer and joined Sawyer in heaven on March 25th, 2019 at the age of 36. The love they shared with us will not be forgotten. In her 13 years of teaching, Tessica’s love for students in our school was seen through her caring spirit and generous heart. All proceeds raised will support students and families in our community and Mayo NICU families with needs in memory of Tessica of Sawyer.
