Thank you for taking interest in joining the Monroe Inclusiveness Collective (MIC)!
MIC is a non-school affiliated youth-led-organization purposed with improving the experiences of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and Marginalized People in our Monroe community. We seek to energize our community and provide accessible ways for widespread action involvement. Our goals are:
-To build a support network for BIPOC and Marginalized people within the Monroe community
-To create a safer, inclusive, and more understanding Monroe by education
-To improve the culture around an intolerance towards racism and hate speech in Monroe
-To improve the experiences of BIPOC and Marginalized people, amplify their voices, and care for their well-
beings
-To provide accessible ways for the community to get involved in the cause
By joining MIC, you join one of our core principle committees, and will receive emails from the related committee leaders. These emails will contain MIC updates and ways you can get involved.
