Eastside Community Network is transforming the entrances of Stoudamire Wellness Hub (The Stoudamire) into Peace Plaza — and we’re inviting the entire community to participate in the process and share their creative vision for the plaza’s design!
We aim for Peace Plaza to be a space for healing and wellness, serving as a place for:
- Art & Creation
- Connection & Collaboration
- Rest & Reflection
- Personal Growth
- Communing with Nature
We want the entire community to participate in this competition — including our youth, adults, elders, artists, residents, neighborhood groups, grassroots organizations, students, academic partners, and local organizations!
The winning designer(s) will receive a cash prize, and participate in the Peace Plaza design process and grand opening!
Submit this application to join the design competition. You may submit a design as an individual, a team, or an organization. Once you have submitted the application, you can pick up your competition materials from Stoudamire Wellness Hub (4401 Conner St, Detroit, MI). Materials will be available starting April 30, 2024.
