This semester in RUF we'll be getting together in groups of 4. Enough to be a group. Small enough to get to know each other.

In RUF we want to take Covid-19 very seriously. And we want to meet the needs of all students. We're still humans who need human connection. Quads allow us to meet together safely. As we cannot gather in large groups, with quads you can build friendships with a handful of people, and every fourth week you have the opportunity to meet a new mix of people. The questions are designed to be simple yet open enough to really get to know each other, engage with Scripture, and connect to God together. Mixing the groups after 3 weeks allows us to build new relationships and get to know the community as a whole.

Each Quad (Group of 4) will schedule a time together and meet (either in person or on Zoom) for 40 minutes (obviously if you're having a great time you can keep talking) once per week. And we'll discuss 4 questions:
1. How have you been doing? Each person will pick an emotion/experience they've had in the last week and talk about it. This can be wide open (rage, despair, etc!) or simple (bored, apathetic, etc). We need to be known and to know each other, this is a simple and safe way to begin to share our lives together.
2. Read the Scripture passage for the week. What is this text telling us about God?
3. Read it again. How does this connect to your current situation?
4. Read it again. How could we use this text to inform/shape our prayer?
Then we'll finish with prayer.
