What is the role and responsibility of an art institution in a time of multiple crises? What are the horizons of art and culture? How could an institution be a beacon of hope in the dark, promoting equality, diversity and joy?
The institutional day is primarily aimed at people working in art and cultural institutions, but anybody interested is welcome. The day will be held onsite at Taike and the working languages will be English and Finnish.

Friday 9th of May 2025 or when all the spots have been booked.
There are 80 places, and each small group session can host up to 25 participants. The places are filled in order of registration.
Please note that you will receive a confirmation of a successful registration and whether or not you are able to join the roundtable of your choice after the registration has closed. Accessibility:
The Taike head office in Helsinki is situated on the 7th floor of the administrative building at Hakaniemenranta 6. The accessible entrance to the building can be found on the Hakaniemenkatu 2 side of the property, where there is an accessible elevator next to the stairs (in use during the opening hours for lobby services). Parking spaces for visitors are on the same side of the property.
The interior of the administrative building is mostly accessible. Some of the doors are automatic, and thresholds are low or non-existent.
Accessible WC facilities can be found on the entrance level and inside the Taike office. Personal assistants and service dogs are welcome.
The auditorium inside the administrative building is equipped with an induction loop.

#StopHatredNow 2025 -tapahtuman ensimmäisen päivän aikana kokoonnumme yhteen keskustelemaan, jakamaan työkaluja ja strategioita sekä unelmoimaan mahdollisesta tulevaisuudesta.
Mikä on taideinstituution rooli ja vastuu moninaisten kriisien aikana? Mitkä ovat taiteen ja kulttuurin horisontit? Miten instituutio voisi majakka pimeässä, joka edistäisi toivoa, tasa-arvoa, monimuotoisuutta ja iloa?
Instituutiopäivä on suunnattu taide- ja kulttuuri-instituutioissa työskenteleville henkilöille, mutta kaikki ovat lämpimästi tervetulleita. Ohjelma järjestetään paikan päällä Taiken toimistossa, kielinä suomi ja englanti.

Taiken Helsingin toimipiste sijaitsee Hakaniemenranta 6:n virastotalon seitsemännessä kerroksessa. Esteetön sisäänkäynti virastotaloon löytyy kiinteistön Hakaniemenkatu 2:n puolelta, jossa on portaiden vieressä esteetön hissi (käytössä aulapalvelun aukioloaikoina). Vierailijoille varatut pysäköintipaikat ovat samalla puolella kiinteistöä.
Sisällä virastotalossa kulku on suurilta osin esteetöntä. Osa ovista on automatisoitu ja kynnykset ovat matalia tai niitä ei ole ollenkaan.
Sisääntulokerroksessa sekä Taiken toimistolla on esteettömät WC-tilat.
Henkilökohtaiset avustajat ja hyötykoirat ovat tervetulleita.
Virastotalon auditoriossa on käytössä induktiosilmukka.
