Help us Prevent Damage!
While we do everything in our power to prevent damage to your property, we understand that accidents still happen, especially when you consider the low-visibility conditions our operators work in (for example, during big snow storms or overnight clearings). Help us prevent damage to your property by following these quick steps:

1. If you have any wood, brick or stone structures protruding into the driveway like steps, garden beds, retaining walls, etc. please let us know by filling in the form below so that we can ensure additional markers are installed at your property.

2. Our tractors require 13 feet of clearance up from the surface of the driveway. If you have tree branches that overhang lower than that, they need to be trimmed to prevent damage to your property and our tractor.

3. Check to ensure your water valve cap is flush with your driveway. If it is sticking up, please contact the City of Ottawa  (3-1-1) to have to it leveled to the driveway surface.

4. Remove all miscellaneous items from the driveway surface (movable basketball nets, downspout extenders, holiday decorations, etc). If your basketball net is permanent, please remove the backboard from the post or at a minimum, turn the backboard away from the driveway to prevent the tractor from catching/breaking the net.
