Briefing on "A year of leaving Azovstal steelworks: cry out, as it’s impossible to be silent"

The Council “Women of Steel” public organization representatives will hold a briefing on “A year of leaving Azovstal steelworks: cry out, as it’s impossible to be silent" at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform to coincide with a year after the Azovstal steel plant leave.

Speakers:

– Nataliia Zarytska, Chair of the “Woman of Steel” Council of Wives and Mothers of Ukraine's Defenders", wife of a released from captivity soldier of the Azov Regiment;

– Natalia Kravtsova, mother of a captured Azovstal defender;

– Nelya Shastun, mother of Azov battalion soldiers, whose one son was killed and the other was held in captivity;

– Anastasia Mikhilova, one held for two months in an Azovstal bunker with her four-year-old son;

– Sofia Cherepanova, sister of a captured Azovstal defender.

Why is it interesting? In May, it will be a year since Azovstal steelworks defenders left the plant's territory after 86 days of unprecedented defense in triple enemy exceed encirclement. Back then, the whole world admired the strength of the spirit of Azovstal defenders. However, neither the fighters nor their families could have imagined that following evacuating from the five-ton aerial bombs place of drop, one would be sent to torture chambers for an indefinite period of time.

В Медіацентрі Україна – Укрінформ до річниці виходу з «Азовсталі» представниці ГО «Жінки зі Сталі» проведуть брифінг  на тему: «Рік виходу з «Азовсталі»: кричати, немає сил мовчати».

– Наталка Зарицька, голова ГО «Рада жінок і матерів «Жінки зі Сталі», дружина звільненого з полону бійця полку «Азов»;

– Наталія Кравцова, матір полоненого захисника «Азовсталі»;

– Неля Шастун, матір двох бійців полку «Азов», один з яких загинув, а другий – перебував у полоні;

– Анастасія Міхільова, два місяці перебувала з чотирирічним сином в бункері «Азовсталі»;

– Софія Черепанова, сестра полоненого захисника «Азовсталі».

Чому це цікаво? У травні минає рік з моменту, як захисники «Азовсталі» вийшли з території комбінату після 86 днів безпрецедентної оборони у потрійному оточенні ворога. Тоді увесь світ захоплювався силою духу захисників «Азовсталі». Утім ані самі оборонці, ані їхні рідні не могли уявити, що евакуювавшись від п’ятитонних авіабомб, вони на невизначений термін будуть відправлені до катівень.
