** If your pet is on 1-3 different medications, the charge is $6 per day. 4-5 medications is $9 per day, and 6+ medications would be $12 per day.  If we are giving insulin injections, there is an $8 per day fee for once a day injections and a $13 per day fee for twice a day injections. Fluid therapy while boarding is $28.50 per session (if you provide the fluid bag/line and needles). There is a $20 per day fee for bladder expressions. **

Luxury suites can have a bed if you select "yes" below. There is a $350 fee to replace damaged beds.
Deluxe runs can have a cot. There is a $100 fee to replace damaged cots. Kitty condos have only blankets.
We can place blankets in the pet's rooms. There is no charge to replace damaged blankets.
You are free to bring any of your own bedding from home. Please make sure to bring only machine washable bedding. We will try to wash or clean any soiled pet bedding, but if the bed is not machine washable or does not fit into our washing machine, we will have to bag it and send the soiled bed home with you. 
Client Agreement - PLEASE READ IN FULL *
By checking the "Agreed" box below, you understand the following:     
                                                                 
  • We are not a 24 - hour facility, and we are closed to the public on certain holidays (listed below). We still come to take care of the animals on our closed holidays, but we will not be open for pick-up or drop-off. If you are unable to make it for pick-up or drop-off during our open business hours, then you can come the next day or the day before and will be charged accordingly. We will also not release any animals after closing hours, even if there are still staff members present in the building.
  • If your pet damages the room or any part of the kennel/yards, you are responsible for the cost.

  • If you sign up for the "Willow C.A.R.E Package" below we will use padded flooring with absorbent pads to try and keep your pet as clean, dry and comfortable as possible. This will include a flat bed, which lays low to the ground making it easier for them to access it. If anything is damaged by your pet the cost is $250-$300 to replace. The package is meant for paralyzed pets, senior animals, pets who have trouble walking/getting up, and special needs pets only. If you sign up for the package, the staff will evaluate your pet at drop off. The staff has the right to decline your pet for this service if they do not fit the criteria. If you are unsure whether your pet will be approved, just give the office a call/text and we can review their situation with you. 
  • If we find fleas on your pet, we will perform an exam and administer treatment on your pet. You will be responsible for those costs. We highly recommend having your pet on current flea/tick preventative year-round. 
  • We are NOT open for pick-up or drop-off on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. 
  • Doggie Daycare is not automatically included with your pet's stay with us. You can add on daycare for an additional cost. Not every pet qualifies for daycare, must be current on requirements, spayed/neutered, and must pass an evaluation in order to be accepted to the program. You are responsible for paying the evaluation charge whether the pet passes or fails. 

  • If your pet is boarding in a suite: When your pet is dropped off we will put them right into the open suite. IF there is already a pet reserved in that room, they have the room until 1pm. At 1pm we will move the other guest out, clean, and move your pet in as soon as possible. Your pet(s) will stay in a standard run until the suite is ready. The last day of boarding for your pet in a suite, they have the room until 1pm as well. If you do not pick up by 1pm, we will have to move your pet into a standard run until they leave if someone else is coming into the room that day. 
  • We will not feed your pet raw, uncooked meat products or by-products while boarding. This includes raw meats, organs, bones with uncooked meat on them, etc. If you have questions regarding this, please give us a call before boarding to discuss feeding options for your pet while boarding. **Raw meat can carry pathogens, like E. coli, listeria, and salmonella, which can make pets and humans ill.
  • We cannot give any CBD products while boarding.

  • Through the day-to-day operation of boarding and/or daycare while boarding, pets may be exposed to contagious organisms that can result in illness, or they may be subject to injury through routine play in daycare. Although no "negligence" is involved by the operator or staff of the facility, the pet owner's sense of justice is offended when they are asked to pay for something that occurred while the care of their pet was entrusted to others.
    To address this quandary, Bartels Busack Pet Hospital Resort & Spa has established a "Healthy Pet Warranty Program". This program defines the level of liability our pet resort will assume for pets that become ill or are injured while boarding, although no improper care was involved.  We will cover a maximum of $500 per reservation. This warranty expires 24 hours after being discharged from our care for non-contagious illness or injuries. This warranty expires 10 days after being discharged for contagious diseases. 
    This policy is subject to exclusions, terms and conditions listed below:
    *Pre-existing health conditions
    *Illness related to cancer
    *Injury, illness, or death when pets housed together (per owners request) take action against each other
    *Injury, illness, or death resulting from whelping or pregnancy
    *Oral medications dispense for continued home care
    *Vaccine reactions while boarding
    This coverage is the pet owner's exclusive remedy in the event of any claims for illness, injury, or medical care for a covered pet. Pet owners shall remain responsible for all charges exceeding the maximum coverage amount of $500.
    Bartels Busack Pet Hospital Resort and Spa retains the right to exclude pets from the "Healthy Pet Warranty Program" based on age, pre-existing illness or injury, or any other health concerns identified on admittance to our pet resort. 
By checking "Agreed" below, you are acknowledging that 1) You are agreeing to everything on this document. 2) Your pet has not been exposed to any contagious diseases within the past 30 days. 3) Your pet is current on all required vaccines/requirements before coming to the facility. 4) You are agreeing to pay the entire payment upon pick-up for all costs associated with boarding, daycare, hospital services, and any extra services or add-ons.

Willow C.A.R.E Package $40 per day

The Willow C.A.R.E package includes the following for your special needs pet:
  • Padded flooring, absorbent pads, bedding.
  • The medication dispensing fee is included in cost and bladder expressions if needed. 
  • Additional potty break included or bladder expressions
  • 15 minutes worth of activity time like short strolls, outside time, buddy time (activity decided by staff). 
  • Daily mental stimulation with puzzle feeder or snuffle mat (treats included). 
  • Elevated bowls if applicable. 
  • Exit bath on the last day of boarding, and daily clean ups/washes as needed. 
  • Daily health assessments
 **The staff will evaluate your pet at drop off to see if they qualify for the package, they have the right to decline any pet that does not fit the criteria.**

If your pet is a first time daycare guest with us, we will need to have them pass a daycare evaluation, which is $15 pass/fail. Not every pet qualifies for daycare. They must be current on requirements as well as spayed/neutered. You will also need to complete a Daycare Enrollment Form. *These services will be performed whenever the staff has free time; we cannot wait to do strolls/buddy lap times or additional potty breaks until the evening or a certain time of day.

Please be specific. If you want your pet shaved or trimmed, list how much hair you want off of body and head (for example 1/4, 1/2, or as much as possible). **All full groomings include a nail trim, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. Grooming price is based on temperament, condition of coat, and what is being done. The final price will be determined by the groomer.
