Online Teen Book Discussion                                              The Voting Booth by Brandy Colbert                         Saturday, October 24                                                               2 p.m. ~ Ages 13-18
Teens are invited to read and discuss the book The Voting Booth by Brandy Colbert.

"Even though they are first-time voters, Marva and Duke do not expect Election Day to be quite so eventful. When Marva—who’s been tirelessly registering voters for months—sees Duke turned away because of a registration mix-up, she becomes determined to help him cast his ballot. As the teens rush between polling centers, they realize they just might be falling for each other. The latest from an award-winning author, this masterful novel follows two Black teenagers who open up to one another as they challenge racist voter suppression.”

Teens should read the book before the discussion. E-book and audio book copies can be checked out with your library card at hoopladigital.com.

Registration is required. Once you register, instructions and a Zoom link will be emailed to you. For more information call (609)345-2269 x3050.
