Being a TOMKAT board member can be a very fulfilling experience. Board members get to change and shape the event first-hand with policies, decisions, and overall direction. You get to be a leader in the community and create incredible events.

It is also a lot of work and large time commitment with up to 20 meetings per year, tasks to complete in between meetings, and responsibilities during the event. Also, as a TOMKAT board member, note that your legal name and contact information will be provided to the government along with those of the other members of the board of directors of our numbered corporation, and this information will be accessible to the public.

Please fill this application out and we will review and get back to you on our decision regardless of our choice. If you are chosen as a finalist, it will be posted online (using your online alias, not legal name) so the community will have input into the choice of organizer to represent them.
