Hello Port Austin Neighbor,

We are the volunteer committee to bring municipal water to Port Austin Township. We are all residents of Port Austin Township, with representation from Huron Regional Water Authority, Port Austin Area Sewer and Water Authority, and the Port Austin Township Board. Our goal is to offer a platform for those individuals who wish to have the opportunity to receive municipal water.

As many residents are aware, a petition was started by the Committee to gather names and signatures to determine the level of interest in this project. In hindsight, and based on feedback we believe that a petition was not the appropriate approach at this time.

On the next page is a SURVEY of interest for the project. Please let us know if you have any other relevant questions about the project in the Comment section.

If you are NOT interested at all in the chance for municipal water, check the NO box

If you are Interested in Municipal water, check the YES box

If you need more information, check the WANT MORE INFORMATION BOX

Please also let us know what you feel is an appropriate cost for a project like this, we will use that as a guide when working with State and Federal representatives
