Introduction:The Dalla Lana School of Public Health Student-Led Conference (DLSPH SLC) is now accepting applications from students interested in joining the SLC Committee as a Volunteer. Volunteers assist SLC Co-Chairs with tasks related to their role
in the days leading up to the conference and/or the day of the conference.
This Year's Conference:
COVID-19 has changed the face of public health. The current pandemic has brought unique and novel challenges to the forefront of public health practice. Accompanying these challenges are lessons learned that can be employed to inform future public health theory and action. With increased visibility and the rapidly developing scope of public health in recent years, the 2022 DLSPH Student Led Conference begs the question: what’s next for public health?
New best-practices are burgeoning, the ways in which the general public conceptualises health have shifted, and adapting to change is the only constant. Join us, as we explore and provide insight on navigating public health in a post-2020 world. We will pay special attention to understanding the critical issues impacting public health right now, exciting new methods, and how we can employ knowledge translation to integrate lessons learned into public health practice.
