SAA Mentoring Cohort MENTOR APPLICATION
The SAA Mentoring Program Subcommittee is recruiting volunteers to co-lead a second round of cohorts. Tentatively, we are recruiting for Accessibility & Disability, BIPOC, and LGTBQIA+ themes but welcome your ideas for additional themes. Cohorts will consist of approximately 6 mentees co-led by two mentors. Cohorts will be active from June - December 2022. The expected average time commitment for each cohort is to meet at least once per month for at least 1-2 hours. Each cohort will be supported by one volunteer Liaison from the Mentoring Subcommittee.

Applications will be reviewed by members of the Mentoring Subcommittee and selection decisions will be based on factors including the connection of the individual with the cohort theme and ideas they may have for fostering a safe, inclusive, and impactful mentoring cohort experience. The Subcommittee will be in contact with a decision either way by May 1.
