Audition Information
Auditions are NOT required to be in Choir, but if you are interested in auditioning for an upper level choir (listed below), please let us know.
  • Bella Vox (9th Women) - Current 8th graders in Choir do not have to audition to be in this Choir. They will receive a recommendation from their current director.
  • Cantabile (10th-12th Women)
  • Chorale (10th-12th Men and Women - Varsity Choir) - Because this is a Varsity level Choir, much is expected from these students.  Please take a look at this Chorale Contract if you are interested in auditioning for the Varsity Choir.  It will need to be signed by you and your parents and turned in when you audition.

The audition will  consist of the director vocalizing you to hear your range, having you echo random pitches, and having you sing  the beginning of the "Star Spangled Banner". You will also be asked to sightread an 8 measure melody.  We don't need perfection for the sightreading, but it will tell us a lot about your sightreading skills and your tenacity.

We will email you to set up a time in April.
