As part of the Plymouth Together recovery programme for a Healthier and Resilient Keyham, we are offering a free training package for organisations, groups, projects, community members and practitioners who work with young people in the area of Keyham.

The Training will be delivered by:

Plymouth Training:  
Specialist across the Children and Young People workforce sectors and offer a range of introductory and professional development practice workshops and professional short courses from Level 1 to Degree level. Youth Focus South West:
A ‘Not for Profit’ Community Interest Company (CIC) established by experienced Youth Work Practitioners with the aim of continuing to develop opportunities for young people. Youth Focus South West is linked to the ‘Network of Regional Youth Work Units: England’. Youth Focus South West has been building regional training and capacity building projects since 2019. A key part of which is designing and delivering training for youth workers on a range of relevant subject areas. In order to meet the needs of all participants the training will cover Foundational Youth Work Practice, the aim being to make the training as accessible as possible for all involved.

To book a place on one, more, or all training sessions we are asking all interested individuals to complete this booking form. Please note venues will be confirmed, but all training will take place within the Keyham area.
