Ordering
Submit a separate order for each level of Award (i.e. Bronze, Silver etc). We will make the same number of rucksacks hired available for all elements in that Award's programme, covering Training and all Expeditions.
If you wish to order additional rucksacks after your initial submission, please complete the form again with the number of extra rucksacks required. We will add up all orders and aim to meet all requests, subject to stock availability. If you wish to reduce your order, please send us an email and we'll adjust your order accordingly.
Finances
Each rucksack is £10.00 + VAT. We will add on the total hire fee to your final invoice. If this has already been issued, then a separate invoice will be sent. Invoices will need to have been fully paid before the Qualifying Expedition.
Delivery & Collection
Rucksacks will be delivered to the rendezvous location for each activity and collected back in immediately after completion of that activity, in the same way that Group Kit is provided. Participants will need to bring their kit separately in a holdall or similar, and then we'll support them in packing their rucksack at the start. Any spare luggage will then need to be stored during the activity, and returned to the participant at the finish so as to unpack the rucksack.
Any rucksacks not returned or maliciously damaged will be charged to the school at RRP with the recommendation that the school reclaims the cost for the participant. However, more importantly, this may compromise our ability to help other participants requiring that rucksack on future expeditions, especially if the turnaround time is tight. We ask for your support in ensuring that these rucksacks are looked after and treated with respect so that we can support other participants during these challenging financial times.
