April 2023 Troop Campout - Troop Olympics.
Event Timing: April 14-April 16 - This is a 2 night campout

Description: Our April campout will be troop olympics! Since we haven't trained for summer or winter events, this will be scout skills-based. There will be teams. There will be competitions. There will be prizes. We will be at Daingerfield State Park, and some competitions (weather permitting) will involve paddling on a lake. Scouts and adults must be a BSA classified swimmer to do the paddling competitions. If you have a swim test from the 2022 summer camp, that will be sufficient (Check with Ms. Smeltzer to verify). If not, please arrange to get that finished before the campout. Plano Parks and Rec offers the swim test. Please register at a time most convenient for you. 

Special packing item: water shoes and extra clothing that can get wet/muddy.
