Racial Justice in 2021
The parishioners of the Family of Four Catholic Parishes in Milwaukee's Riverwest, Eastside, and Downtown neighborhoods are committed to remaining engaged in the work of racial justice in our community. We will begin a planning committee to sponsor monthly events starting right away in January! We already have our first series scheduled, "Luba Lukova: Designing Justice," on Tuesdays throughout January. This weekly, online, participatory, and creative series is in collaboration with the Jewish Museum of Milwaukee. Please respond to the questions below to communicate your interest and availability!

On each of the Tuesdays in January (5, 12, 19, 26) we will be having an arts-based social justice series entitled, "Luba Lukova: Designing Justice," from 7:00 -8:00 pm. This is in collaboration with the exhibit of the same name, currently on display at the Jewish Museum of Milwaukee (https://jewishmuseummilwaukee.org/luba-lukova-designing-justice/). Each session will be informative and participatory. Don't worry, you DON'T need to be an artist to enjoy the series... just a curious and willing spirit! Session 1 - virtual tour of exhibit and workshop with Artist-Educator, Jeff Zimpel. Session 2 - "Art & Action" workshop with Jeff Zimpel and five Milwaukee community agencies. Session 3 - "Drawing with Scissors" workshop. Session 4 - Interactive Q & A (and Show & Tell!) with Education Director, Ellie Gettinger, of the JMM.
