Dear Parents/Guardians:
 
The Webster School District would like to offer a source of groceries over the weekend for our families through our food backpack program. A backpack, filled with staple items such as canned tuna, peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese and coupons for milk can be sent home with your child every week.

The first food backpack will be sent home at the beginning of September on Wednesdays. The backpack will be sealed to ensure that the food arrives home unopened. There are tags on each backpack to remind families to return the bag to school and to ensure the backpacks get back to the right place. We ask students to return their backpack to the bin outside of the School Counselor's office (Room 125) by Monday morning each week.

This is a confidential program, we will not share any personal information with other agencies. The backpack program is provided to our students through fundraisers and local donations! Typically we ask that families who apply for this program are also receiving free and reduced lunches, however if this is a need for your family at this time -- please apply.
