Model Minority Mutiny Workshop - PAO!
The Model Minority Mutiny workshop supports Asian community members in a) exploring their identity and b) considering the idea of model minority mutiny as an act of solidarity with Black and Indigenous communities. Participants will also learn more about Prairie Asian Organizers (PAO!) and how to get involved.

This online workshop will be a facilitated space and is intended for any individual of Asian descent living in Winnipeg and other parts of Manitoba. We will be engaging in self-reflection and group sharing.

We want to acknowledge that exploring our identities and the model minority myth can bring up challenging experiences of anti-Asian racism, white supremacy, misogyny, and other oppressions. If there is anything you'd like the facilitators to know about you, please use the space below to share.
