This form should be completed by all Candidates seeking Employment with the Raceday Assistant Team.
The wide variety of positions includes Car Parking Stewards,
Badge Checking, Racecard Selling, Ticket Scanning and General
Stewarding.
Allocation of jobs will be controlled by York Racecourse
Management subject to the vacancies available. We will try to match candidates to the best job based on their experience. Our busiest days are in July and August, and therefore preference may be given to candidates with availability at these times.
Successful candidates will be required to attend a half day training session before their first day of work. These sessions will be held on April 9th, April 16th, April 24th and April 29th. You will have a choice of which date you attend subject to availability. A separate invitation to the training will be sent via e-mail. Please note that you only need to attend one session. A uniform will be issued on your first working day.
Please note that any offers of employment will be subject to the candidate providing satisfactory proof of their eligibility to work in the UK. This could be a copy of a valid British passport, Birth Certificate or a Share Code, along with their National Insurance Number.
