Join the Hydro stream for a vessel tour while at the conference, on Friday 11AM to 1PM. Limited places available.  The Ports of Auckland have made their dedicated hydrographic survey vessel ACHERON available for short harbour tours showcasing the latest seabed mapping technology.  This will be a chance to see how the Port’s survey team uses their new multibeam echosounder (MBES) to survey port infrastructure and support dredging operations around Wynyard Basin for AC36.  The tour is open only to conference delegates and it is free of charge. Transport from Cordis Hotel will be provided.

Plan for each tour will be:
- 30 minute round trip on the busy Waitemata Harbour, learning how hydrographic surveyors use the latest seabed mapping technology to support Auckland’s marine construction and commercial port.
