Exercise & GI Disorders Research Project Expression of Interest
Researchers at the University of Newcastle and Hunter Medical Research Institute are looking for people with a functional gastrointestinal disorder (e.g., functional dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome) to participate in an exercise project. First you will be asked to maintain your usual exercise and diet habits for 8 weeks. You will then participate in 8 weeks of free exercise sessions, supervised by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. You will also undergo testing of your health and fitness before and after the intervention at the University of Newcastle Callaghan campus and Hunter Medical Research Institute.

Please fill out this expression of interest form and one of our researchers will be in contact with you shortly. Alternatively, you can contact Jacinta Durney on jacinta.durney@uon.edu.au for more information.

This project has been approved by the University of Newcastle Human Research Ethics Committee, HREC Approval No. H-2022-0269
