Welcome Presenters!! You are invited to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 2024 Neglected & Delinquent Leadership Symposium to be held October 9 - 11, 2024, at Kalahari Resorts & Convention in the Poconos. We look forward to hearing from you!
Presenters are encouraged to share their programs, population, adversities, triumphs, and lessons learned. This year we are hoping to highlight sessions in the areas of:
- Social Emotional/Mental Health
- Drug & Alcohol
- Instructional Strategies/Content Areas/Project-Based Learning
- Career/Transition
- Administrative
Timeline
- Submit a proposal by August 2, 2024.
- Presenters will be emailed by August 16, 2024, regarding the status of their proposal.
- If accepted, register for the N&D Symposium between August 19 - August 30, 2024.
Presenter Responsibilities
- Presenter is responsible for bringing an HDMI capable device if a presentation will be used. The rooms will be set-up so that presenters can plug into the screens with an HDMI cable.
- Presenters must adhere to all copyright laws.
- Email the committee their presentation/handouts one week prior to the symposium so we can post it to our website.
- Meals and transportation are the responsibility of the presenter.
Committee Responsibilities- Provide lodging and free registration for up to two presenters per presentation.
- Provide a screen with an HDMI cable. Presenter is responsible for any additional equipment.
- Post the presentation/handouts to our event platform.
