sktime 2024 sponsored projects planning
We are planning intensive developer sprints over the summer, starting May 2024, coordinated with summer internships and co-funded projects.

For this, we are collecting tentative commitments towards roadmap and planning:

- work time committed towards sprint participation
- monetary donations towards a work item

The commitments are informal and do not constitute a binding contract - main purpose of this form is planning, of roadmap work allocation and budgets.

General purpose donations can be made anytime via open collective: https://opencollective.com/sktime
Open Collective is an EU charity (Belgium) and acts as fiscal host for the sktime project.

Data provided by you will be processed only for purposes of planning, roadmap, budgeting for 2024.

Required
If you would like to commit in-kind, i.e., regular work time: how much FTE, starting/ending when? This should be a regular weekly 10% FTE or more, with participation in coordinated stand-ups (start Apr, May or later).
If you would like to fund a topic or project: how much towards the item of interest? Any requirements from you towards sktime?

100-200$ are typical from private contributors; 1k-15k$ are typical industry donations. A full 350 work hours internship is ca 5k$, we follow GSoC costing.

We initiate an alignment and planning session once commitments towards a topic exceed at least the cost of a 2 month internship. Optionally, you can donate via open collective early, to help us with budgeting.
I've read and understood sktime's mission statement and commit to adhere to sktime's code of conduct
