2023 Summer Korean Self-Placement Exam

This exam will help determine which level of Korean is most appropriate for you at this time. For that reason, it is important that you rely on your current familiarity with Korean when completing the exam.

The use of external resources is HIGHLY DISCOURAGED  since that might result in you being placed into a class that does not match your current language abilities.

► There is no time limit. After exam, view score and enroll yourself in the right level of the Korean classes according to the score table below.

  • Score between 0~20 out of 36 : Enroll in KOREAN 1
  • Score between 21~24 out of 36 : Enroll in KOREAN 2
  • Score between 25~29 out of 36 : Enroll in KOREAN 3
  • Score between 30~33 out of 36 : Enroll in KOREAN 4
  • Score between 34~36 out of 36 : Enroll in KOREAN 5 (Will be open on 2023 Fall)
