Stay LIT(erary) - Professional Development Session
Inter-generational drop in session for educators, teaching artists and youth leaders looking to build their skills in producing spoken word programming with young people. Hosted by Mass LEAP's new  Stay LIT Program Coordinator, Claudia Wilson, June 12th, 2021 10:00am-11:30am - Topic this week: "Teaching Practice & Pedagogy, a look at stress & grounding techniques for educators and students.

CLAUDIA M. WILSON is an artist, recent MFA graduate, & Social Worker (MSW) who lives and plays in Northampton, MA. They have featured at various venues in Ohio & Boston.  Claudia's present work in progress centers on embodiment, family, and WWF wrestlers from the mid-'90s. Claudia studied English & Black Literature at The Ohio State University and is a TWH & VONA graduate. Their chapbook GROWN was published through Game Over Books Press and is about Claudia's time in foster care. They are a proud black queer and a person of faith. They're originally from Cleveland & Columbus, Ohio. They like to play board and Switch games ( Skyrim) and eat flamin' hots on the weekends.
