I understand that as a parent/guardian of a Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) student, my child is entitled to the protections of all applicable state and federal privacy laws, including the Family Education and Privacy Act (FERPA). I permit FCPS to use the schoolwork of my child on FCPS social media accounts for the purpose of showcasing the academic and artistic achievement of FCPS students.

I understand that the social media posts may be shared and distributed to the public, and I consent to the use of my child’s schoolwork in such a manner. I understand that this consent is not mandatory, and that FCPS is not responsible for any unauthorized reproduction of any schoolwork posted. I hold FCPS harmless from claims based on unauthorized reproduction.
