You are receiving this survey because you live or work in Mount Vernon. We are interested in your views on the health care needs of this community, especially post-COVID-19 pandemic. Your answers to the questions below can help influence Montefiore Health System to incorporate the needed services in Mount Vernon Hospital.  In recent months, the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and telemetry services were re-instated along with tele-medical services which allows medical staff to interact with patients virtually. While these services are critical to patient care additional services must be introduced to fully address the needs of residents and stakeholders.  Mount Vernon patients deserve convenient and comprehensive medical attention within the boundaries of the city.  It is no longer acceptable to travel outside the city to hospitals such as Montefiore’s main hospital in the Bronx or its hospital in New Rochelle for healthcare.

•  Well Child
•  Chronic Illness

How do we use this information?

The City of Mount Vernon has partnered with the Save and Transform Mount Vernon Hospital Community Coalition and healthcare subject matter experts to raise awareness to the insufficient services offered at the Mount Vernon Hospital.  Once data is compiled and scored a report will be generated outlining the health needs identified by the community as its greatest needs.  Results will be shared with the community and used to influence Montefiore Health System to address and implement services as designed by Mount Vernon.
