ZSE 1st Grade Teacher Request Form 2022-23
DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING THIS FORM is MONDAY, JULY 11th
Please be aware that various things are considered when forming classes each school year. Every effort is made to create classrooms that are well balanced in number by gender, race, academic achievement, and student's social behavior. In addition, we are required to follow state guidelines when placing at-risk students. Parents are encouraged to to take advantage of the opportunity to complete a request form, even if they think their child will qualify for REACH. Timelines and completeness of request forms do impact placement, so be sure to complete your request by Monday, July 11th, and select the number of teachers required.
By submitting a teacher request form you acknowledge the following:                                                                             I understand and acknowledge that ZSE will take my request into consideration when assigning my child to a class and understand that it is not possible to guarantee anyone's choices.  I understand that my request will be discarded if fewer than the required choices are selected. I understand and acknowledge that by providing this input, I am agreeable with my child being placed in any of the teachers' classes I selected.   *
