2020 STEM Festival

On April 16th from 4-7, Central Magnet is hosting a STEM festival open to all RuCo students. There will be a number of activities from experiments, to speakers, to competitions, to snacks! BUT we need help! We need Central Magnet's finest students to not only participate in the festivities, but to help run them! This event is being hosted mostly by Central's STEM honor societies and clubs, so this is a great opportunity to get points in clubs like SNHS or MAO! If you are interested in helping organize this event either behind the scenes or ON THE DAY OF, fill out the form and we will be in touch! Aliyah Weaver (aliyah.weaver2002@gmail.com) is in charge of the whole operation, so if you have any questions or concerns, talk to her! As far as point quantities, contact your club sponsor to see how many points your participation will earn!

Designer--Make digital flyers and design staff t-shirts

Presenter--Present things you've created in Science Olympiad or Robotics

Competition Planner--Put together and create questions for the science bowl (all fields of science) or the math competitions (all levels of math)

Concessions--Run a concessions stand for one of the honors societies

Welcomer--Greet people at the door (DAY OF)

Finding guest speakers--Reaching out to MTSU professors/others to speak at the event

Clean-up--Cleaning up the aftermath of the event (DAY OF)

Set-up--Setting up classrooms for competitions, etc.

Overseer--hosting a competition, etc. just being around during a certain activity (DAY OF)
