Special Research Roles

There are four vital roles on each Research Team, and we want to thank you for volunteering to fill one of these roles by offering to waive your registration fee should you be accepted into that role.

Which of the Research Topic(s) are you particularly interested in?

What special role are you interested in filling (you can apply for more than one, but will only be assigned to one role). *

Research Partner - This role is filled by someone from the Client Partner organization. This person will be responsible for enacting the suggestions made by the research team and reporting back results via the Liaison.

Liaison - This role will preferably be filled by someone with consulting experience. They will effectively fill the role of a Product Owner, acting as the conduit between the Research Partner and the Research Team. They are the Research Partners primary point of contact.

Coordinator - This role is essentially the Scrum Master of the Research Team. They are responsible for organizing the members of the Research Team to make sure they gather periodically to gather feedback and update their recommendations.

Research Lead - This role is the principle author of the Whitepaper / Experience Report. They are responsible for gathering data and capturing the analysis and feedback from the client partner, as well as cataloging the suggestions made by the Research Team.

Research Team Member - It's okay if you don't want to fill one of the special roles. You may use this form to tell us which Research Topic you are interested in. As a regular team member, you will participate in the Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle and meet with your team when they gather. But (at this time) we do not expect to reimburse the team members for participating. Your reward comes from the co-author credit you receive, and the warm fuzzy feeling of a job well-done!
