West Side Pedestrian Safety Survey
In response to West Siders' concerns about pedestrian safety on the West Side, Councilmember Rebecca Noecker is working on improvements to Wabasha and Cesar Chavez Streets.  She is asking for feedback on which improvements should be prioritized. Please share your input below.

The following changes are all being considered to improve pedestrian safety on the West Side.  Please rank each change in order of priority (1 = highest priority, 4 = lowest priority).
Definitions
Bumpout: A bumpout is a section of concrete at an intersection that extends the curb into the street, narrowing the street and allowing pedestrians to see further into the street before they cross.

Median: A median is a strip of concrete in the middle of a roadway, giving pedestrians a place to stop midway through the crossing.


A. Adding a bumpout at Cesar Chavez and Ada in the northwest quadrant
B. Adding a bumpout and median at Cesar Chavez and Livingston
C. Adding bumpouts to Wabasha and Isabel at all four corners
D. Adding bumpouts to Wabasha and Congress in the northeast and southwest quadrants
