Abilene Zoo Field Trip Request
All school groups need to complete this form seven days prior to their visit. Abilene & Wylie ISD students and personnel receive free admission thanks to the generosity of the City of Abilene. All other visitors are charged the regular admission rate of $10 for adults and $7 for children 3-12 years old. Children 2 years and younger are free. 

We are limiting the number of school groups that attend the zoo on each day. When you submit your form you will receive an email back with an order number to give at the admissions window the day of your trip. If your day is no longer available, you will receive an email informing you that you will need to select a different date.

Please note that we do NOT offer class add-ons on weekends or during the summer months. Class add-ons are only offered during the school year and have limited availability.

Education Classes
Add an educational experience featuring an Ambassador Animal your students will touch! Classes are 20-30 minute curriculum-based animal presentations with an animal meet and greet. The cost is $2.25 per student, with a $50 minimum. Due to the classroom capacity, only students and teachers are allowed in the classroom. Please remember that classes are subject to availability and are offered Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 11:30 AM. Class dates & times are not confirmed until you receive an email from the education department with an order number.
