Story Leads/Ideas
Diaconal Ministries’ mission is “to inspire, empower and equip deacons to animate their congregations to Engage Communities, to Live Stewardly, and to Promote Mercy & Justice.”

We share stories on our e-Quip Diaconal Blog to inspire deacons and give them a glimpse into how Diaconal Ministries can equip and empower them in the work that they do.

Stories we want to tell are ones that include churches doing creative and courageous ministry, particularly ones that engage their local community and/or show collaboration with other local ministries or agencies. Ones of GREAT INTEREST include how our staff and coaches have walked alongside a church and helped them address a challenge they faced or equipped them with the right tools and resources.

No story is too big or too small if it shows how deacons are being the hands, feet, and mouth of Jesus!

Please use this form if you think you have a good story that our Communication Coordinator (Erin Knight) should follow-up on. If you have any further questions, please email Erin at eknight@crcna.org.

**BEFORE FILLING THIS OUT: It's important that the contact person has a heads up before I contact him/her/them. PLEASE GET PERMISSION TO SHARE THEIR CONTACT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU SEND THIS TO ERIN.**

How were the deacons involved?
We believe every member is a deacon, called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. The ordained Deacons in your church are called to equip and mobilize the members of the church into action - pursuing love and justice and living stewardly. For the sake of this story, how were the ordained deacons involved, if at all?
