Nominations and self-nominations are accepted for this award.
This award recognizes a community member who has demonstrated a sustained commitment to civic engagement. The application should (a) provide evidence of sustained civic leadership (b) demonstrate the community member's success in creating sustained positive community impact or public policy change. The $500 award will be given to a community-based organization or cause in the honoree's name.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria:
1) Demonstrated civic leadership in the community.
2) Demonstrated capacity to affect positive change.
Applications will be reviewed by a committee of faculty, staff, and community leaders coordinated by the Leduc Center for Civic Engagement. The deadline for applications is March 25, 2022.
