UofN Kona - Single Quarterly Staff Housing
YWAM Kona is blessed with a beautiful campus that has been developing steadily over 40 years. Our campus community of students and staff has been increasing rapidly and housing on campus is very limited. When available, campus housing is assigned to new staff; staff for schools and departments; campus leadership; and those serving in critical areas and building managers.

Each campus resident is expected to fully adhere to our YWAM values and commit to help build a community of faith and discipleship. Campus housing rates are subsidized and come with added benefits including electricity, water, insurance, WIFI, etc. We expect staff residents to model stewardship of their personal environment and build relationships with other staff and students beyond their own school or ministry.
 
REQUIREMENTS FOR STAFF HOUSING:

-       You must be accepted as FULL-TIME staff in our system
-       Upon arrival you must pay the $5 activation fee for the quarter
-       You must show proof of valid emergency health insurance for the state of Hawaii
-       You must have $0 UofN campus debt

SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS:

- Keep your environment clean and presentable at all times
- Build relationships with those in your room and building
- Assist and cooperate with the building manager to enforce campus guidelines
- Disciple and instruct others in practical matters
- Attend quarterly building meetings with new students and staff
- Adults living on campus must pay their staff activation fee
- I understand that smoking, drugs and alcohol are prohibited on campus
- Personal guests must check in with the housing department and pay a daily rate

BILLING, SIGNING-OUT, & TIME AWAY:

-     A housing deposit equivalent to 1 month’s housing fees-$400 plus a $100 Room Cleaning and Key deposit will be charged 10 days before your arrival. This invoice will need to be paid prior to check-in.  (receipt required for check-in)
-     Upon check-in, the first housing fees invoice (from check-in date until end of that month $15/day) will calculated. This bill will come 2-3 days after arrival.
-     Staff housing fees ($400) are due on the 1st day of every month
-     Failure to pay housing fees will result in termination from campus Housing.
-     If you have prior debt to the campus, you are not eligible for campus housing.
-     When you check out of campus housing, arrange for a room check with your Building Manager in order for finance to reimburse your deposits. Without a Building Manager check out, billing will continue and you will be liable for it.
-     Housing is assigned per quarter. Subletting is not permitted.
-     There are no refunds or proration for travel or time away of less than one month or less. You will continue to be responsible to pay your housing fees during your travels.
