Congrats on taking your first step to becoming the best nail artist you can be! If we haven’t already met- let me tell you about your potential future instructor! I am Evangelina, I have been doing nails for 6 years as of 2023. I originally went to school to get my Esthetics license but decided I wanted to pursue my creative abilities and began as a self-taught nail artist- I spent 2 years teaching myself acrylic by watching YouTube videos. Although it was a major part of my journey, I would’ve saved myself so much time and health factors if I would’ve invested in a good course. Unfortunately over the years, I’ve contracted contact dermatitis due to not properly using the chemicals when I first started doing nails! I say this because if you’re in your beginning phase I would hate for this to happen to you! Invest in your knowledge!

Over the pandemic, I attended A Plus Nail School in Chicago and hopped around a few salon and suite locations since 2019. As of 2024, I own Indigo Beauty Boutique in Rockford. I offer almost every popular service (Acrylic, Gel-X, BIAB aka Builder Manis!) I have had the privilege of working a variety of unique nail art pop up experiences such as Art Basel in Miami, Cerise Rooftop at Virgin Hotels, Sorry Papi Tour and more thanks to my specialization in nail art! My goal is to make teaching my full time career as I advance in to my career.

AND YOU are somewhere on your journey in nails (which is a never ending journey, btw!) and I am more than excited to become friends and help anywhere I can! I'm dedicated to making your journey in the world of nails accessible, which is why payment plans are available on our website through Shop Pay. I am eager to work with all levels of nail interests and I offer flexible scheduling! You have the option to choose from five to eight hours per session. These sessions are one on one and include a 1.5 hour model demo. The model demo is necessary to show you what these techniques and learning look like in real time. Occasionally offer group art sessions that are about 3 hours focusing specifically on nail art techniques.

Available courses cover a range of techniques, including:

• acrylic application - the most common nail service. there is a big of dedication of time required but time will reward you!

• gel-x application - the nail industry’s newest and more advanced service. this is popular in fast pace cities where clients don’t want to take over 1.5-2 hours for acrylic services. this is also easier to learn!

• builder gel manicure - another popular service for those looking to preserve their natural nails with a thicker gel overlay.

• specialized nail art (focuses on improving nail designs and techniques)
