The use of AIs as creative tools is a topic of debate that often swings between overestimating or underestimating their capabilities. These judgments are frequently based on an ideal human performance (including the misconception that creativity is solely a product of "genius" or innate talent). While some criticize AI for relying on induction, i.e., learning and creating through examples, it is also true that human creativity also depends on previous knowledge, equally involving induction and deduction. It seems to me that these new technologies ultimately force us to reconsider longstanding, mystified views of human creativity. But how could creativity be redefined altogether?
